crazy challenge blogspot

The layout comes from http://www.scrapbookitblog.blogspot.com/
It was to use the sketch provided. I just realized I did not get my entry in on time. Hate when that happens. Anyway, I decided to enter it into http://crazychallenge.blogspot.com/ The theme was Easter. The sentiment came from http://www.freedigitalstamps.blogspot.com/ but I can not seem to recall exactly which site, My apologies.

Daring card makers challenge

This was the challenge.
Draw a Bird Day
Did you know that April 8th is officially draw a bird day? Me neither until I was stuck for a dare and looked up the significance of April 8th. So let's give it a go!
Draw a bird
If you really can't face drawing your own bird then I will allow stamped or paper pieced birds as well.

This was my Paper Pieced bird using the oval cutting system from Creative Memories and the Heart punch.

challenge at Broken Box Stock

The challenge was to use the free Digi image to create a project.
this was my take. Sometime minimal can be very nice and effective. I did the image in colored pencils used the creative Memories oval cutting systems and enhanced the design with some ranger Liquid pearls.

General Updates

So all the hard work to get ready for the mission market proved a little less profitable that I had hoped. I have plenty of left overs for the next fundraiser. My next fundraiser will be sometime in May for the American Cancer Society's relay for life. While Rebbecca was home dog /house sitting getting ready for the missions market I was off on a Creative Memories scrap retreat. I was not as productive as I had hoped do to the fact that there was not a lot of space to spread out. On the upside the venue was awesome and the food spectacular.

Emma Rocks !

In putting this poster for the Fund raiser this weekend, Emma cut my time in half. I fast as the Circut was cutting out the letter Em was gluing them together and then on the board. We were done in no time. I used a Pack pack from K & Company that I was not especially fond of but The bold prints worked excellent for this application.
I give Emma and I an A+

The only thing I have left to do is List the items that are going to be for sale under the word Menu. I plan on doing it in the Laser printer on standard paper and use removable adhesive. Therefore enabling me to to use it year after year. I will sure and let you know how well we do.
