This was a card I did for my niece Emma's Birthday. I think she was more thrilled with the card than the gift.

Christian Survial Kits.

I am not sure where this idea originated, However I have seen them used at several church bazaars. For the Recent Church in the park my niece Ally and I had to put together 500 of these as give aways. A ton of work but very rewarding. The hardest part of this project is hunting down the various items in the bag. I have found Walmart to be a great outlet for the little ziploc bags. They can be found in the jewelry section. The Dollar stores are fabulous for the balance of the items. The wooden blocks were a little harder to come by and seemed expensive when doing so many so we just made our own. The blocks are about 1/2" square.

Crank up the music and get going. These would be great inserts into Christmas card or sympathy cards. Just a nifty little item.

Text:

Christian Survival Kit
CANDLE: remember God is the light and the way
CLAY: A reminder that he is the potter and we are the work of his hand.
DIME: Always give back 1/10 of the blessings he has given you.
MUSTARD SEED: With faith all things are possible.
BLOCK: You may stumble but not fall for the lord will uphold you
COTTON BALL: a reminder that prayer can soften the hard time.
BANDAGE: A reminder that God will heal your wounds.

Get well soon

So being as I am feeling a little under the weather I thought I would share a get well card I did for a friend of mine. I used the Paper Pups cart. I used A rubber stamp with a glue pad and added glitter. Enjoy!

Crafting

Crafting does not have to be expensive. Crafting is about being creative with what you already have.
